In a rut...

I've been in a blogging rut lately....between everyone being sick (Chad has been home sick all week), the rainy weather, and just some things that have been weighing on my mind, I just haven't been in the mood to blog or really have anything to blog about. I'm just a little down, and I want to be in a good mood and have happy things to share. Maybe if you send some happy bloggy thoughts my way, that would help. Maybe leave me a comment telling me what you are happy about at the moment. I think that could help. :-)

A friend of mine may not remember but ten years ago she told me that God would not give you more than you could handle! That was very encouraging to hear and has stuck with me throughout the years. You may not have realized how much you comment meant to me. I am happy that God has surrounded me with people who care. : )

Hang in there, Stacy! There was a time just after Charlotte was born that I think someone in this house was consistently sick for two solid months! It does get so daunting. I hope everything clears up for you soon so you can get out and enjoy the warmer weather! That always boosts my spirits.

I am thankful that even in the worst situation God teaches us something...whether it be to appreciate the good times more, or another more complicated lesson...we are students of His plan. We recently went on vacation (probably the only vacation for a while) and both the babies got sick..but I tried to remember His promise that all things work for good for those that love Him. It's hard when things seem to be looking down, and the gloom seems to be overwhelming you, but sing some hymns as you go about your daily work and you'll be surprised how much it lifts your spirit. :) I'm also thankful I have found a friend in you.
